The most elementary way to brighten up a cooking area? Lego-fy it!


Granite counter tops or the more rebellious concrete? A bright backsplash or go a little crazy with all the appliances?

There are seemingly endless options when it comes to brightening upward a kitchen, but Parisian developers Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti decided to take a more primary route, and spruce up an Ikea island with 20, 000 Legos.

The design required a week to create, and we have to say, it’ s a heck of a lot more fun than picking out cute new tea towels.
